We have scheduled a 1st aid course at short notice for next Friday (21st January). Cost is £98 but if anyone is after a space at short notice give me a call - we might even be able to give you a discount! The RYA 1st aid course (or an equivalent) is needed by all commercial skippers & all instructors, & is also a pre-course entry requirement for many of the higher level RYA practical courses such as the Advanced powerboat course. That aside, it is also a hugely useful practical course, and is as equally relevant on land as it is on the water. If ever you are confronted by an emergenccy situation where you have to perform any sort of first aid from CPR to applying a bandage, this is one course you will be hugely glad you have done.
We should also shortly be able to offer First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work courses in addition to our RYA 1st aid courses - watch this space or give us a call for more details.
